CHELLASTON RESERVE

Public BBQ

Chellaston Reserve delivers a well-maintained riverside precinct where Camden's Nepean walking and cycling track meets contemporary recreation facilities. The centerpiece playground features interactive equipment including a sedate flying fox, catering to various ages, while expansive grassed areas accommodate football, soccer, cricket, and casual ball games under the canopy of large, mature shade trees. Electric BBQs service multiple covered seating areas and picnic tables, with immaculately kept toilet facilities and bubblers positioned throughout. The reserve's position along the Nepean corridor attracts dog walkers and cyclists year-round, with birdwatching opportunities adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Father's Day picnics and weekend family gatherings fill the grounds regularly, drawn by the combination of open space, modern amenities, and ample parking that makes extended visits practical.
